Rubbish Lipsticks - What to do?

I bought 4 L'oreal lipsticks online from Deals Direct just before Christmas. They had a good special going $5.00 each + postage $26.35.

    Ok, I tried them all,

3 of them - you couldn't see any colour when used.

One of them made my lips stick together.

What are my chances of getting a full refund.

I am not a happy little vegemite. $26.35 down the gurgler!

By the way, they were miniature size.

No help to you, but we bought an extremely dodgy digital photo frame from deals direct and they refused to refund our money until we send an email quoting sections of the fair trade act (this was several years ago). I would never buy from them again now.

Re: Rubbish Lipsticks - What to do?

I have shopped with DealsDirect for several years and have always been happy with the quality of the goods and service.

I have just emailed telling them how disappointed I was with the lipsticks and that I am awaiting a 'favourable reply'.

I will let you know what happens. I am keeping m fingers crossed for all full refund.

Postage alone seems like a rip off, I doubt you will get your money back as they are lipsticks and once you have tried them.

Have you emailed the place and asked for a refund? Look at the terms and conditions.... if you paid with paypal and the product is not what was promised you can put your case forward to the resolution centre.

And get nowhere and with no help RCD....Paypal are gutless....I know from experience.

Never had a problem with Deals Direct....just have to remember that what is cheap, usually is. BTW, you won't get postage refunded and possibly spend more in returning the lipsticks so that you get your $15 back.

    hi! My suggestion? Go public.

    They hate that!

Join their Facebook page, leave negative (but polite) comments about the poor service, poor quality of lipsticks, tweet all about it, spread the word that they sell rubbish lipsticks and see how fast they offer you a refund, or apology just to shut you up. Ask your friends to support you in their own social media networks.

This worked for me with Pandora and a retailer in South Australia who both ignored me and treated me like dirt. Once I went to the social media sites, they fixed the issue in 2 days.

    regards to you!

Hey Zenza, Get yourself an Avon rep and check out their lipsticks, all at good prices too.
