I'd agree that the method of checking will give slightly inaccurate readings. Hugo runs 'hot' in general and Sophia runs cooler (when well) so I have a different number for 'normal' for each of them. If it's very low it's usually an error with the way I'm taking their temps (for us). Given your Sophia's medical condition I would definitely mention it to your Dr or specialist the next time you have an appointment. If its worrying you unduly now, try to get an appointment sooner to follow up on it or have your concerns addressed.
