Oh dear, how embarrassing.
Went shopping at supermarket today - took my pile of recyclable bags out of the garage and off I went.
got to check out and handed bags to cashier - eek she screams there's a crab in there - well, actually was leftover prawn and crab shells - leftover from Tuesday!!!
Weather in SA has been high 30's last few days so imagine the stink of them
Not sure how I hadn't noticed - or why someone put a bag of crustacean leftovers on my recyling shopping bag pile
Oh boy, wanted hole in ground to swallow me up - can just imagine her telling story at party tonight about feral woman in her checkout line today

Well......it could have been a live crab!
I can just imagine how disappointed you were that there wasn't a hole in the ground when you so needed one.I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

damn that would have been embarrassing.....Never mind though, I did that once sort of. The gal wanted to check my bag and I said but it's a nappy bag, she insisted and found a nice pooey nappy in there. I did warn her though hehehehe

Re: Oh dear, how embarrassing.
I'm telling my mum this story! She has an obsession about getting rid of prawn and other fishy left overs. She will wrap them in 5 plastic bags and make Dad go driving to drop them in a street bin somewhere so they are off the property! When we were kids we got sent down the to corner shop bin with them, it was very embarrassing for us. But omg she would just die if something like this happened to her!

Re: Oh dear, how embarrassing.
I felt like dieing into a hole too CB

We usually wrap our shells in newspaper and then put in plastic bag in freezer until the morning the bin goes out
