    Depends, Buying toys at Christmas & we wanted the last one in store. The corner of the box was slightly crushed, we got £5 off

    Clothes shops here don't seem to do haggling

    When we go to electronics or furniture stores I don't haggle but hubby does he's quite good at it as well..you don't ask you don't get.
    When we go to trash and treasure markets he haggles as well.
    TO KNOW SOMEONE HERE OR THERE WITH WHOM YOU FEEL THERE IS AN UNDERSTANDING IN SPITE OF DISTANCES OR THOUGHTS UNEXPRESSED----THAT CAN MAKE OF THIS EARTH A GARDEN.

    Yes I will haggle, I always get a couple of quotes on what I want, then get them to beat the best price. I paid $1500 for my TV and saved $600 on the price. I only haggle on large items.

    Sounds like the haggling gene is more predominate in the male?????.......I, too, leave that to my hubby when we are buying bigger items.
    I definitely will spend time shopping around before the actual trip to the shops.........the internet is my shopping best friend.
    Love getting the best price.....too shy to haggle.

    I lived in Asia for a few years and now find it hard to resist the urge to haggle over everything. I miss haggling a lot.
