    Having seen how some people infringe on the personal space of others on planes due to their size, I think it is only fair that they be forced (that's a very strong term isn't it?) to pay for two seats. And it has to be more comfortable for the actual passenger themselves.
    Actually, I think it would be fairly obvious to staff if someone would require the extra seat.
    I am beautiful inside and out so I should love myself unconditionally.

    Heather but who would make the weight size that people need to comform to
    and a lot of people who are skinny stink to high heaven and i wouldnt like to be seating next to them.
    i think i would prefer to be next to a cuddly person than a stinky one

    Some people infringe on personal space and they are not big either , they seem to think they own both arm rests , grrrrr

    Yet one more example of we can be penalised for being overweight,smoking,being a SAHM, a working Mum ... The list just keeps getting longer....

    Well I won't have to feel bad for leaving Klaus at home anymore

    Now seriously it is very much like OW said with judging & bagging over wights, smokers, working mums the list goes on I just hope they don't start penalising people for chatting to the person next to them ...........I do not believe it is right to charge double & as Melinda said I would rather a weighty person then a smelly person, I think they are making the seat s smaller anyway

    Do planes have a weight limit?
    I would think so, So what would they do if the limit was met before all seats were filled. I have thought this on occassion when flying to Adelaide.

    I have wondered about that too Cherie. Especially when I see the size of some peoples hand luggage, which is not always weighed.
