Going back to study
Today is my first day of going to back to study. I tried a few years ago, but life got in the way. I am doing it by distance, but full time (I don't think we would all cope if I had to go into the city every day!) and am excited but very nervous. I am studying nutritional medicine, at an alternative medicine college, so sort of like naturopathy.
I thought if nothing else it will give me good information to have just for my family friends but hen I finish my youngest will be going into highschool so it may be the time to look at going back to work. We'll see. I have to get through the first subject yet.

Re: Going back to study
Sounds great. I'd love to do something like that! Do you have to do any residential schools or is it all through corespondance? Would you mind PMing me the name of the college?

Re: Going back to study
I'm also doing a university course through Open Universities Australia and find it a great way to fit it around my work and the kids and find I do most of it on the weekends when the kids are busy relaxing (on WII LOL) and have just handed in my very first case study analysis in my whole life and am pretrefied that I have stuffed it completely. Open Universities have a great selection and you can apply for Fee Help which means that the government pays for the course and then you pay them back from your tax return when you start earning over a certain amount.
Good luck with it, I'm certainly enjoying it.EARTH IS THE INSANE ASLYUM FOR THE UNIVERSE

Good for you both. I went to TAFE a couple of years ago and I enjoyed that very much. I needed something at the time and it served me well for various reasons. I've thought of doing something else online but I don't know what to do and I really don't know where to begin to look, cause there's a few shonky places out there in WWW land.
