Re: The Book Boys
when I bought my Kindle I looked on ebay first and I have also looked recently at the newer kindles and I find they are cheaper to buy directly from Amazon even with postage added!! It has been happening lately with phones, computers, iPads etc as well. I think many sellers are getting cheeky and think because so many people go straight to ebay thinking they will get something cheaper they inflate the price. They get lucky as well, the amount of people I have seen buying over priced items is amazing! So just a little word of warning for Kindle buyers, check Amazon first!!

Re: The Book Boys
Are the kindles lighter on weight than a thick book? I find holding a book up after a while gets heavy?

Re: The Book Boys
Yes Jen they're very light. I just weighed mine, it's 230 grams. If you've got some scales handy weigh a book to compare.

Re: The Book Boys
Kindles are exactly the same price on Amazon & other online sellers as in stores here, couldn't find a cheaper one anywhere.
Love my kindle
love the fact that cos it's registered in KP's name, I download the books & he pays!!
We also have a cheap book store, has one or two uptodate books but most are older ones, you can get some right bargains, especially in cooking, diy, gardening etc

Re: The Book Boys
When DH and I were in South Australia last year, we were looking for a particular recent release. Everywhere we looked it was approx $30.00 but in one shop [in Noarlunga Centre] which looked like a book stall we found the book for $10.00.
I would say they were from an auction..maybe from a bookstore that had gone into to liquidation. So maybe thats what your Book Boys store is doing Kaylene.
