So I saw the thread on Tina and thought to myself if any of you lovely ladies ,( sorry Fran) or your loved ones have been on TV, in an ad, or in a mag or whatever?

I did a search but couldnt find another thread similar , has there been one already ?

Why are you saying 'sorry' to Fran huh ?
Well my daughter has been on TV quite a lot for the last 12 years because of her job as CEO of the Wetlands & she is big with the Hunter Tourism group & she is Director of her own company which has to do with envoronment etc etc
She does many many Radio interviews over the 12 years to do with her work plus Tourism ............they may phone her 10 minutes before a interview & she has to go on air straight away not knowing what they are going to ask
Has had her photo & story when she won a big award for Tourism, she does do a load of work for Hunter Tourism
Also big story when she was elected Chairman of Hunter Tourism, the Lord Mayor put on a big dinner in her honour for her hard work
Her & her son Jacob have been in the newspaper for their ideas on the environment, Jacob was also in on a couple of her radio interviews & was asked questions on the subject of a eco friendly world & if he had any ideas or eco friendly tips for people & Yes he had many, he is a good speaker when addressing a group so at 10 year old he did very well & people could not believe how well he spoke on the matter

Nothing too big..I have sung on a stage once when I was in my teens, and sung Karioke a couple years ago in front of a reasonable size crowd.

My eldest DD won her age group (14) in the Australian Championship Karate tourniment held in Brisbane, in 1988 Bicentenial year. She was a brown belt.

I was in the Herald Sun newspaper in an article a few years ago with Gin please Kekka can attest to it she was reading the paper on the way to work when she saw me she said she yelled out and everyone looked at her I still have the clipping and a copy of the link. That's it for me except when I retired I got my pic in the S.D.A. union magazine which goes all over Australia a few of the girls from the local Coles recognised me from it.
