Work policy dictates closed in shoes. Common sense dictates cross trainers for exercise and some recreational activities. So I have a fair few pairs of closed in shoes. I do prefer to wear sandals or Skechers thongs on my days off - unless the weather is below 10 degrees or so.

I don't subscribe to fashion trends. In fact I hate them because they result in the stores being saturated with stupid looking clothes in revolting colours. Every so often a fashion trend will marry up with what I like so I'll buy it but that is a fluke more than the rule.

I go to the hairdresser every 5 or 6 weeks for a cut and colour. I would care if I had grey hair but so far as I know I don't. I don't think I will ever be happy to be grey so I see a lot of hair dye in my future.

I don't have pedicures because I'm afraid of being charged with assault. I contemplate getting my eyebrows waxed but then I see those people who have had them done a bit much and I get scared off the idea.

I hate wearing closed in shoes wore them for 25 years til I retired, soon as I walked in the door they were off now I hardly ever wear them except in winter, wear Dunlop volleys not fond of track shoes have some boots I have trouble getting a good fit in shoes,have a couple of pairs of Rivers shoes. No one is touching my eyebrows, would like a pedicure but have to find someone I trust enough to touch my feet.

I wear what I'm comfortable wearing....both in fit and style.
Can't afford the hairdresser, nor regular manicures and pedicures any more.
