road rules clarification

You know that saying "if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it probably is a duck"........I am not thinking it looks like a crossing or is marked as a crossing...therefore it is not a crossing???

and of course we could have a whole new thread for people with ipods in their ears walking across roads and not looking as they are so into the music....

i heard on the radio this morning ambulance officers are finding more and more peole with earphones being ran over or hit

Going back to the signs, not all crossings have signs. None of the ones in our shopping centres have any. It's pretty much only the ones near a school.
