Head lice. Are some people more prone to it than others?

My eldest was the only one who got them and the only thing about him that was different was he was blonde , haha
the other three never got them but I really think it is because after the first one got them once i used lice repellant mousse on their hair alot and think this deterred them

...But mosquitos! - they will leave everyone else alone and zoom in for me - I will come home from a BBQ or something and have bites all along my arms, while Ken remains untouched.

@Ted E Bear... same here. Isn't it unfair! But this is better than them biting my kids!

@Naomi... sometimes the regular shampoo's the culprit. From where I come from, there's this local brand of shampoo that attracts lice... I hate it!

Just to be sure, I think you need to comb your kid's hair again. she should have strict personal rules on using other people's comb or sharing hers. :-)

@Melinda. I think it's the smell.... it's so strong that my DH hates it.

Funny thing is that I was sceptic about this. I've known about this 20 years ago... in high school I was so fond of baby sitting church mates' kids. My friends told me about this and never believed them. Imagine, after 2 decades... still consistent in attracting louse.
