Are iTunes cards on sale anywhere at the moment?

Big W have two $50 cards for $80

or two $100 cards for $150

Target have buy one iTunes card and get a second at 50% off. $20 iTunes card + $20 iTunes card = $30.

So how do you use them..
You purchase a card ..and everytime you want to download a song you put your card number in??? Is it like that?
I would like to get some songs so I can make my own discs..

You 'redeem' them on your iTunes account - just enter the card number into iTunes and it credits your account and you can spend as usual. I prefer using cards because it doesn't charge to my credit card, and also, I only buy them on sale so it's cheaper.

Thanks Naomi, I have never looked into it before. Am interested now that DD made me a disc from songs I chose. I never asked her about how she paid.

Ok so if you don't have iTunes, you can download that onto your computer (free). It's been so long since I registered that I'm not sure, but you might need to enter your credit card details. I have a credit card attached to my account but I make sure I stay in credit with iTunes cards so I don't have to use my credit card.
Once you have iTunes, it's so easy, you just search the song title/movie/whatever you're wanting and then click purchase. You'll need to enter your password to purchase but then it downloads straight into iTunes. You can burn a cd from iTunes, but I've only done it once (a long time ago, and from a mac, so I'm not sure if it's as straight forward on a PC but it was easy when I did it). Mostly I go the other way and put my CDs into iTunes so I can put them on my iPod.

There might be other music download programs but this is the only one I use.

Sam usually buys me a card for Xmas...Cherie, it's dead easy to download songs.

I also buy them for work.....last one was for a Xmas carol compilation CD.
