    The recommened daily calorie sources here are;

    Carbohydrates 50% minimum,
    Protein 15% minium,
    Fats 33/35% maximum,
    Alcohol 0/5%.

    Non drinkers are allowed a little extra sugar.

    Most meals should take the following form;
    A large serving of complex carboyhydrates,
    One or two good sized servings of fruit & vegetables,
    A relatively small portion of protein ( more if it's a vegetable source,
    A little added fat ( butter,olive oil etc )

    Very rarely do I have a completly carb free meal, I do not like a lot of meat,so I tend to have more carbs than protein.
