love those counting machines at the bank. Sophia gets all our loose change in her money box and when it is full we go and get it transferred into her bank account. She loves it, it is a real outing for her, she knows which buttons to press on the machine and to take the ticket up to the counter, she has her own bank book and really enjoys the whole process.

I have a rule that any money found in pant's pockets before laundering is like Daffy Duck

I always find money in DP's pockets before washing his pants, mostly $2 coins and $5 notes once I found $45 in notes and coins in the one pair of pants! Went straight in my wallet

Frugality and spending is like most things in life - dont go to extremes, find the happy balance.
