Re: Speaking of husbands behaving badly ...
I am not a big fan of zoos in the first place. I understand the need for some of them but at the end of the day,you have to remember that these are wild animals. Even dogs can attack humans & they have been domesticated for thousands of years.

Re: Speaking of husbands behaving badly ...
Sometimes quick reactions make a worse outcome. No point in stressing the animals so that the kill and retrieve instinct is triggered, more people could have been hurt.

Re: Speaking of husbands behaving badly ...
I guess I was thinking more from the point that, surely your first reaction would be to stop taking photos at least - whether out of shock or whatever. I just can't fathom how he'd stand there and keep snapping. Unless the photos look worse than the actual incident was? (The woman did seem fine with the whole ordeal in the article).

Re: Speaking of husbands behaving badly ...
I asked S, "if a wild animal started attacking me, would you keep taking photos, or stop?". He said "Um ... I ... what?! I'd stop!"
but then I said "if you murdered me and hid my body, would you go on television and make a tearful plea for my return?" he said "no, because when they make tearful pleas, you KNOW they're guilty!" so ... I'm not sure.
