One of the things I noticed when I first came to Queensland was all the high set homes..Then we had a massive influx of people from all around the country coming into Qld to live (That started in the 80's I think), and they all built low set homes like they did in other states...I am on the high side of a hill so no need for a high set..but if I lived across the road I would have one..
