that cheese
in the cracker-and-cheese packets, that has a shelf-life of about a hundred years, and doesn't need to be refrigerated ... what must they put in that cheese, to make it last so long?
Why are there so many songs about rainbows?

Re: that cheese
The only cheese and cracker ones I get are from Mainland. They're in the dairy section at Coles so I've never paid attention to the expiry date.
Or are you talking about plastic cheese?

Re: that cheese
I often buy the cheese wedges that are on the shelves - havent really thought about expiry dates.
Cheese spread is on the shelves too - I guess it is just preserved like jam, peanut paste etc on shelves is?

Yep, I'd use it. Talking about packet mixes; each year someone I know runs a big charity fundraiser. I always donate food for it which is of course, sold. Last year I used some brand name biscuits...
Best before date - would you use...
