    Winter Illness

Has anyone been suffering a cold of the flu this season? Are we all stocked up on our vitamins? I ran out of Vitamin C the other day so now I'm paranoid that if I am in public somewhere I will definitely catch whatever that coughing person has.... I was at a concert last night and there was a baby behind me who was coughing, coughing, coughing. I felt so bad for the poor mite. Keep those bubbas rugged up!

    Hi Monty,

I've had my flu shot, I know it can't ward of some new strains of flu, but it keeps the common colds and flu's at bay Yep, and the good old vitums C Get well all those who are sick with cold and flu

We're sharing the germs here. Hugo has a yucky cough, it's so sad to listen to. I'm trying to avoid taking him out in public. (He's also got the snail-trail slimy nose - we just got over the last lot of the snots, and now it's back He hates me wiping his nose so this is an ongoing battle).

I woke up this morning with a killer sore throat and runny nose, yuck.

DH will be back tonight (has been away with work) so I'm sure he'll have it by tomorrow morning!

At the rate we're going, we'll be keeping Kleenex in business single handedly this year.

    To those that are sick.

I am currently trying to stay rugged up and healthy for all the singing things that I have on. I'm drinking lots of water and herbal tea.

I was on a crowded peak hour train the other day (in Sydney) and the girl next to me took a phone call and said in this horrible voice 'Yes, I have bronchitis'. I tried to get away as fast as I could!

Well after my virus/bug/cold whatever it was I am going to be upping my vitamins from now on. Maybe it is more of a mind over matter thing for me but I got sick not long after posting this thread All the drugs I was given from the docs/pharmacy didn't work until I bought some Horseradish, Garlic and Vitamin C tablets which helped me straight away. So that's what I recommend for all those suffering with a cold/flu.
