    PID sufferers?

Hi i was just wondering if there are any PID (Pelvic inflammatory disease) sufferers out there.

I was diagnosed with PID mid last year. I went to a dr as i was suffering servre lower abdo pain after a ulstrasound the Dr couldnt see anything amiss, but was very concerned about the pain i was in he felt my tummy and decided that i should go staight to hospital for fear of apendicitis, after bloods being done that was ruled out so they did an internal exam and concluded that it was PID. I was not told much about PID by them. I went home and researched it on the net to find that it is most commonly caused by an STD chlamydia.....i knew i didnt have chlamydia has i had had a STD check 6 mths previous and had no new sexual partners since then, so after more reading i found that PID can be a result of C-section and child Birth. i had had a C-section in 2003.........so from what i can figure thats how i got PID.
I was given anti-biotics and the PID cleared up. then in october last year i found out i was pregnant. at about 12 weeks i lost the baby ....in hindsight i think that most likley was due to the damage PID has done to me.
i had been fine up until the last couple of weeks, it seems as tho it has come back with a vengence. so ill be off to the dr in the next few days.

    Sorry about the epic.
Im scared for my reproductive feature......iam 23 so still have many child-bearing years ahead. not that im interested right now, but maybe in the feature.

If you got this far thanks for reading my story.

Please feel free to add yours.

    Oh Mandy for you.

I had never actually heard of PID before,So I am sorry I cannot offer any help
It sounds just terrible for you though

I do hope you are able to get some relief when you go to see the Dr. Is it not something that can be completly treated, will it keep coming back?

    Take care of yourself
