Happy 2nd Birthday All for Women

My baby turns 2yrs old today! It is hard to believe, it seems like only yesterday..and so much has happened!

We have grown immensely in 2 short years, and I cannot wait to see where the future takes us. We are growing such a special group of lovely ladies and building strong friendships.

April 2005

This is when it all started. Some of you may remember, that All for Women had a different start to life.

Originally, the site was started in February 2005 under the name of Off Topic Oz. It was a general, all topics forum for Australians. After a few months 99% of our members were Women, this is when I had the idea to shift focus a little and concentrate wholly on developing a friendly community for Women. There seemed to be a need for a site that was just for Women to be Women, to offer support and friendship through all stages of life, not just parenting.

In April, 2005 All for Women as we know it was born.

April 2006

Here we are, 12mths on and All for Women has grown so much in a year (you may see some familiar names in the screen shot)

2006 saw All for Women really take off, lots of wonderful new members, messages and changes.

 

 

 

 

 

There are some very special people, who without them all this could not have been possible.

Naomi, I think she has been part of the furniture since day one, like it was meant to be (or she is mad, not sure which LOL). She has been a tremendous support on and off the forums, especially in the last 12mths. All for Women has become her baby, as well as mine, and I couldn’t think of anyone better to share the journey with.

Patric and Barbara, are the backbone off it all. Without their wonderful, much loved personalities, All for Women would be a very dull place. Their friendliness and support to the members can be seen all over the forums. They a genuinely beautiful ladies, and we are all very lucky to have them part of our days.

These ladies help keep All for Women running, but they have also become my dearest and closet friends. I feel blessed to have them in my lives.

Of course, we can’t forget all the most important part, our wonderful members. Without you All for Women would not exists. So a huge thank you and congratulations must go to all of you, for making it what it is.

I think 2007 will be our best year ever, and with your help it can be. If you continue to love and share All for Women, she will keep growing and blooming. We have all made some wonderful friendships over, and I hope we continue to do so.
