What Women Want Australia
What Women Want Australia, is a new political party giving a voice to Australian women launches today in Brisbane. The party is set to contest the 2007 Federal election with a clear agenda; to improve Australian political life and policy through greater involvement of women.

Formed in April, the party quickly gained momentum with more than 700 members. The party, which in is the process of seeking registration with the Australian Electoral Commission, plans to run candidates in the Senate and key marginal House of Representative seats.
